Before
I became sold-out to AA / NA principles, trust me, I was a mess, I
could have lost my life over, and over. I was very dishonest,
dishonest with myself and with others. I convinced myself "I was
in control." when in reality I was way out-of-control. I used to
hide drugs and alcohol at work, at home, at little hiding places here
and there. Just so no one knew just how messed up I really was all
the time. isn't it funny, that we can think no one else has a clue as
to what is going on. -- When it is us addicts and drinkers that are
truly clueless. I lied to my spouse, to my boss, co-worker, friends,
even my sponsor for a long time before he said, "You need to
start being "Real." I spent more time "supposedly"
sick from work than actually being a productive staff member. They
gave me so many chances, I truly own them Big time. I refused to
admit when I was wrong dis so, so many years I lived in lies. I
pretended church, I actually bought my education, I never attended
schools much. I always thought I was better then the next person,
even when it became more and more apparent, I wasn't. Today, thanks
to AA. / NA. more so my relationship with God, that "I choose
today" to work today in truth and honesty, let tomorrow be
tomorrows start to the same. I have so much to offer today living in
TRUTH Mark & Jan
Reflection:
I must live according to the True &
Living word of God, it give me what I never had before, apart from the glitz & glimmer of the worldly stuff surrounding
me. I can go forth from my secret - precious moments with God to walk in the world, work, play, do what is expected of
a citizen. If I yearn for the inner strength, I have come to know with God & AA. / NA... Then I need to put
on the world as a loose garnment for nothing in the world can seriously separate me from
God NOW! As long as my inner spirit is fed my successes become realities as I keep pressing forward to what is good.
Finally,

right,whatever is pure,whatever is lovely,whatever is admirable—if
anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such

Dear Loving Father God, that I may live a life of pressing on to greatness with YOU. Putting God first, AA. / NA. second,
and all else in its proper place under Your Grace Lastly and certainly not finally, influence today by your Truth
forsaking all other and this twenty-four-hours making YOU first...................................

No I just singing here hehehehehe I have decided that we are going to at least for this site the other Serenity Unveiled will
have the normal devotions this one will have the more AA. NA stuff in it... This all is nothing new when Better Tomorrows
was just one paper we used to write section like this with reader and community input then build a paper around it, I wanted
to see us going back to that here. The other Serenity Unveiled paper site is going to have various paper both written
by us and by writers, ministers preacher, lay-people from all over the globe. I have always valued this kind of work also
there are some real talented people out there who are 9-5 daily workers at whatever but gifted by God to bring some awesome work
to the table that make us "Stop and Think - for a moment... That said I pray that God shines a Light upon Your life that His
Loving Grace brushes against your cheek and that His powerful wisdowm leads you on to Better Tomorrows... ---Falcon

Hope you like these common "Prayers," I know they
have made huge changes in my life as helped me to keep God focused. This site, These are just sections from papers over the
years, I have been doing this since 1985 when I was the Spiritual Advisor for a center and the development director
for another over the years. I learned that recovery can take on a great number of faces for different people. Although,
one thing I have always believed is Faith Based Recovery has an indwelling success rate unlike any other form. However, I
talk to people all over the world and meet people who's belief system in not as mine, we do not judge people, we do not categorize people
in little groups, what is important is your recovery regardless of your sex, religion, or national origin. Sure it would be
nice to know that everyone was in a personal relationship with The God our Savior Creator and Salvation, this site is meant
to help you establish, (If you have not done so already), and or keep a strong recovery life daily. A tool. I have been greatly blessed, in that, God has opened doors in other countries
around the world for us. Many of you know already, for those that do not, I have a disc & Nerve disease, it is real hard
for me just to be able to do what normal people do everyday, I say this to say that, it may take me some time but I usually
get around to getting things done. I do write for more than one on-line site, if you don't see activity here does not mean
that I will not get around to posting papers, there are time when I get stuck in bed for periods.
This site is meant for you... You matter, don't let anyone ever lead you
to believe differently. God made you unlike anyone else, even though we kind-of look similar to others, there are
very many great things about us God made just for us / in us.. Remember that! And Live accordingly. :) :)
